Two brothers against a world deprived of its colors.


Each brother exists in his own dimension:

  • In the White dimension Witi can see and interact with Dark objects
  • In the Dark dimension Blicki can see and interact with Light objects

This game was created for the 1-Bit gameJam:

  1. Only using 2 colors at any given time
  2. Main theme - Light and Dark
  3. 7 days time limit
  4. Post processing and different Shaders were allowed as long as you keep the two color rule intact

How-To-Play

Movement

  • Move Left and Right with A-D
  • Hold Space for a long Jump
  • Tap Space for a low Jump
  • Press left Mouse button to Attack
    • Witi can use a sword
    • Blicki has a gun!
  • Click TAB to switch between dimensions (players)
  • Use levers and uncover additional secrets throughout the levels

General Level hotkeys

  • "R" to Restart the level
  • "ESC" to go back to the Main Menu



Future plans / Things that were cut out due to lack of time / open issues

  • The ladders - no animation or sound when climbing a ladder.  the ladders will be overhauled in the next big patch.
  • Easy / Hard mode
  • Add way more levels
  • The ending which is a secret and supposed to be very fun to read was supposed to be way more generic and never ending (but currently it will end the game :) )

That was a fun game. My favorite part was the music though, I just sat there for a few minutes listening to it when I started playing.

It has a bit of a Fireboy and Watergirl vibe and would probably be great for multiplayer. I really enjoy the jumping mechanics, though it would be even better if the character could lock the horizontal axis while climbing.

Really cool,  I like that's it's not so hard so I can finish it! The dialogs are nice and the level design too I think.

I think you should change the control scheme. Maybe make W or the up key jump instead of space.

Traditionally space is more fluid for a Jump, especiallybwhen u have a mechanic for ladders or climbing...


If there's no climbing i usually use both and the player can choose

last colors are crazy for the eyes XD

What are you stuck on?
if its jumping - hold the jump button for a higher jump + you can jump right of the ledges, there's coyote buffering :)

stuck on level 2 :/, other than that nice art and game idea
