The main goal of the game is for the player (which is you!) to reach the door and escape to the next room.

You are equipped with an invisible Gun that only appears when firing, and you only have One Bullet that with some good timing you can pick up and fire again (see "Bullet mechanics" section for more details).

This game was created for the Primitive shapes game jam:

  1. Only using Primitive shapes - circle, square, triangle etc'
  2. You can create an object with 4 sprites
  3. Theme was "One Bullet"
  4. Post processing and different Shaders were allowed!

How-To-Play

Movement

  • Move around with A-W-S-D

One Bullet mechanics

  • Shoot with Left mouse button
  • You bullet will bounce off walls and other objects
  • Your bullet can hurt enemies and break down some walls (brown ones)
  • You can pick up the bullet after you shoot it, but:
    • If you pick it up while its flying - it will hurt you (you can't pick up a flying bullet, doh!)
    • If you pick it up while its close to stopping - you wont hurt yourself (there will be a red circle image indicating the time you can pick it up safely)

Room hotkeys

  • "R" to Restart the level
"H" to bring up a Help menu
  • "ESC" to go back to the Main Menu

Future plans / Things that were cut out due to lack of time

  • Easy / Hard mode
  • Trajectory line so u'll see where the Bullet is going to go, some kind of a physics-based prediction line
  • More player movement like dashing or blinking
  • Way more enemies and obstacles
  • Bullet pick ups (this was part of my initial idea, to have 2 out of 5 random "powers" you can choose from at the beginning of each level)
  • 2D lighting
  • wanted to add up to 40 levels, but that depends on the other features since you need way more enemies and obstacles so it wouldn't be repetitive and boring.

Honestly, This is a very very very great game! Love it even through at the start it felt a little hard but after you get used to the game player loop it feel very good and well balanced. I will like to see a full game made form this!
